Hello World from TymeApps

Published On: May 24, 2025By

Hey there!

So here we are my very first blog post. I’ll be honest, I’ve been staring at this blank page for way too long, wondering how to start. But here goes nothing!

I’m Johnny, and I’ve been working on something called TymeApps. You might know me from my previous work with Lioneur, but this time I’m tackling something completely different. And by “tackling,” I mean slowly losing my mind trying to build an entire platform while drinking way too much coffee.

TymeApps is still in beta right now (translation: it works, but I’m still fixing things that break at 2 AM), but we’re getting close to launching for real. The whole thing started because I kept losing important documents and passwords, and I figured I couldn’t be the only one with this problem.

So What Actually Is TymeApps?

Think of it as your personal digital safe. You know how you probably have important papers scattered between your desk drawer, a filing cabinet, your phone, and that one folder on your computer you can never find? TymeApps is designed to be the one place where all of that stuff lives safely.

I know what you’re thinking—”Johnny, why should I trust some guy I don’t know with my private stuff?” Fair question! Everything you put in TymeApps gets encrypted before it even leaves your device. We’re also working with security experts to audit everything we do. Honestly, the whole security thing keeps me up at night, but in a good way—I want this to be bulletproof.

A Couple of Ways People Are Already Using It

My beta users have shown me some pretty cool use cases I hadn’t even thought of:

The “What If” Scenario: One user told me her biggest fear was something happening to her and her family not being able to find her important documents. Insurance papers, will, bank account info all scattered everywhere. Now she has everything organized in one place with instructions for her family. As a solo business owner myself, I totally get this. If something happened to me tomorrow, would my clients even know who to contact?

The Form-Filling Thing: This one’s still in development, but I’m really excited about it. You know those annoying application forms where you have to write the same information over and over? We’re building something that lets you take a photo of the form and auto-fills it with your saved info. I probably shouldn’t be talking about features that aren’t ready yet, but I can’t help it, I think it’s going to be pretty sweet.

What’s Coming Next

I’m trying not to get ahead of myself here, but I have so many ideas for where this could go. Right now, I’m focused on making sure everything works reliably and getting our Personal plan officially launched. Then comes the fun part—working with security auditors and making sure we’re compliant with all the data protection regulations (which, let me tell you, is about as exciting as watching paint dry, but absolutely necessary).

The truth is, building this thing solo has been both incredibly rewarding and completely exhausting. I’m slowly building a team of people who are way smarter than me, which is both humbling and exciting.

I have no idea if anyone will actually read this, but if you made it this far, thanks for sticking with me. I’ll try to keep these posts coming as we hit new milestones, and I’d love to hear what you think—even if it’s just to tell me I’m crazy.

Talk soon,
